The Tamrock HLX 5 T rock drill has been especially designed to cover the increasing demands in high speed underground drilling. The users require more long-term reliable performance with less cost for both the drifter and the drill string. The answer is the HLX 5 T with a new innovative design including several new patented features.
The HLX 5 T is designed for drifting and tunnelling using T 38 and R 38 drifting rods with hole diameters typically between 43…51 mm. Reaming holes in parallel cuts range typically from 89…127 mm, extension drilling with e.g. T 35 extension rods and 54 mm hole diameter.
